Registration is now open for Spin Qubit 7, the 7th International Conference and Workshop on Spin-Based Quantum Information Processing. It will take place in the Aula conference venue of TU Delft from 13 to 17 July 2026. Chaired by QuTech, the five-day conference brings together researchers working at the forefront of spin qubits, for a week of scientific exchange, discussion and collaboration.

Spin qubits are widely regarded as one of the leading approaches to quantum computing. In these systems, quantum information is encoded in the spin of electrons, confined in holes in semiconductor structures. Their promise lies in the combination of high-fidelity control, compatibility with semiconductor manufacturing, and a clear path towards scaling up more complex processors. Recent QuTech advances have underscored that promise, from demonstrating high-performance semiconductor spin qubits, shuttling spin qubits across a device, and to developing new architectures aimed at testing and scaling larger spin-qubit systems.

Spin Qubit 7 offers an important meeting point for the international community. The programme will cover a broad range of spin-based qubit implementations, including donors in silicon, gate-defined quantum dots in GaAs, SiGe and SiMOS, as well as holes, Ge hole gases and Ge nanowires. In addition, the event will highlight enabling topics that are essential for the field’s progress, including fabrication, algorithms and cryogenic control electronics. The conference aims to stimulate exchange across all these disciplines, and to support the next steps towards robust and scalable quantum technologies.

Spin Qubit 7 is chaired by QuTech principal investigators Maximilian Rimbach-Russ and Stefano Bosco, with 45 speakers confirmed and more than 12 sponsors involved. Researchers interested in attending can register now. Early-bird registration is available until 10 April. More information, including the registration link and an overview of confirmed speakers, is available via the conference website, SpinQubit7.com.
