Yining Zhang received her bachelor degree in Optics from University of Science and Technology of China in 2016. After that she received her MSc degree in Applied Physics from TU Delft. She will continue doing her PhD at Goswami lab in QuTech from September, 2022. Her PhD research will be focus on the Andreev bound states coupled with quantum dots in 2DEG superconducting - semiconducting hybrid materials. The research would lead to the further study of Kitaev Chain and topological qubits. In her spare time she enjoys painting, cooking and traveling.
