Maren Slieker studied General Arts / Art Policy and Management at Utrecht University and graduated in 2002. After graduating, she started working at the Gergiev Festival, an annual festival of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra as a Coordinator and Project Manager. Ultimately, Maren continued to work at the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra in various positions. Maren was Coordinator / Project Manager of special large-scale orchestral productions in which project management and financial management were an important part, till August 2020. Then she decided it was time for a whole new challenge in a work field that is new, but also has similarities. At the beginning of September 2020, Maren started at the QuTech project office

Maren has two children and likes to spend her free time with family and friends.
