Álvaro G. Iñesta (Novelda, Spain, 1995) studied Engineering Physics and Aerospace Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya at the BSc level, and Applied Physics at the TU Delft at the MSc level. As a master’s student, he developed quantum secret sharing protocols in Prof. Wehner’s group, and tools for sampling noisy functions in the Quantum Tinkerer group.

He started his PhD in Wehner’s group in late 2020. His research focuses on the performance analysis of entanglement delivery protocols in quantum networks, as well as in the design of optimal protocols for such a task.

In his spare time, you can find him playing badminton and volley, chilling with his cat, or enjoying a tasty meal with friends.
