Induced superconductivity in InSb 2DEGs

Together with our collaborators in Purdue University we have recently made important developments towards developing Majorana devices in InSb 2DEGs. These include the first demonstration of induced superconductivity in InSb quantum wells, and the development of new kinds of materials which will enable efficient coupling between InSb and superconductors grown in the MBE machine (click images below for higher resolution)
