Taminiau Lab

Margriet is a PhD student in Taminiau Lab, where she works on improving and benchmarking quantum gates for quantum registers based on the nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center in diamond. She enjoys working at the interface between quantum information and experimental physics, and is fascinated by questions such as: How can we make reliable quantum gates in a reproducible manner? What physics do we need to understand to improve control schemes? And which benchmarks will remain useful as quantum systems scale up?
