Anand Kamlapure obtained his PhD from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, India. His doctoral research explored the role of strong disorder on the superconducting properties of conventional superconductors using scanning tunneling microscope. Post PhD, he continued his research in condensed matter physics in Hamburg, Germany and Nijmegen, Netherlands, where as a postdoc, he worked on various topics with the primary focus on superconductivity and magnetism at the atomic scale.

Anand joined QuTech in August 2023 as a postdoc in the DiCarlo lab of the quantum computing division to further widen his experience in nanoscale physics.

Outside of professional pursuits, Anand enjoys bike rides and dabbles in occasional cooking.
