Langerhuizen Oeuvreprijs for Prof. Hans Mooij

Prof. Hans Mooij has received a prestigious career award: the Langerhuizen Oeuvreprijs. The prize is awarded annually and celebrates scientists who have greatly contributed to the fields of the natural sciences.

Prof. Hans Mooij has been a true pioneer in superconducting devices, nanotechnology and quantum computing. His highly successful scientific work and his strong leadership over several decades have led to the Kavli Institute and QuTech as we have it today. His influence is of course much broader than Delft, and the fact that he was co-nominated by 6 Spinoza Prize winners is telling in that respect. Due to corona, the ceremony was adapted to have only few people present. You can watch the full session on the KHMW website here.
