Mission

The TU Delft Quantum Policy Lab has as its goal to support and accelerate the advancement of quantum technologies in Europe by developing state of the art research on governance, management and regulation of these technologies.

TU Delft is already taking leadership in research, innovation and industrialization of quantum technologies. With the Quantum Policy Lab it adds leadership in the domains of:

  • innovation policy and ecosystem development,
  • tech sovereignty and defense,
  • knowledge security and open science,
  • international solidary and open strategic autonomy, and
  • responsible innovation and quantum for good.

It partners with Allied4Future in taking leadership to a European network of institutes and organization for quantum policy within the framework of Technology Collaboration Labs.

The Quantum Polic Lab brings together TU Delft’s knowledge about and research capacities for policy of quantum technologies. It supports ongoing research within TU Delft on quantum policy, and facilitates creating new research projects by TU Delft for and with external partners.
