Post-Doc/ Engineering positions on semiconductor-superconductor hybrid devices

Do you wish to work as part of our exciting research collaboration program with Microsoft to build a topological quantum computer?

Our goal is to develop topologically-protected qubits utilizing Majorana bound states in semiconductor-superconductor hybrid systems. As part of this, we have various projects aiming to fabricate, characterize and control spin-orbit interaction and induced superconductivity in these materials, and to develop superconducting microwave circuits and quantum dot – bound state interfaces for readout of these qubits. These projects involve the development of new measurement techniques as well as novel semiconductor-superconductor heterostructures.

We are looking for candidates who are as passionate about their own contribution as they are empowering and inspiring others.

Candidates should have experience working with quantum devices in particular in the fields of electrical quantum transport or qubit physics. PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering or Material Sciences (or equivalent) are preferred. Additional skills that are highly beneficial are proficiency in Python as well as Git.
