Matt Skrzypczyk studied Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign (2016). He received a Msc in Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Delft (2020) under the supervision of Stephanie Wehner. As a Msc student, he collaborated with several researchers at QuTech to design and study the first physical and link layer protocols for a quantum network stack that takes the first step in turning ad-hoc physics experiments into a quantum networking system. He is currently carrying out his PhD research on network architectures for near-term entanglement distribution networks under the continued guidance of Stephanie Wehner in the QINC team.
In his spare time, Matt likes to practice guitar, do rock climbing, and spend time with friends.
