Kenneth Goodenough is a physicist by training, who joined QuTech in the Wehner Group as a Master student in 2015. There, he worked on establishing upper bounds on quantum channel capacities for practically relevant scenarios. Enthusiastic about the possibilities at QuTech, he stayed for a PhD in the Elkouss Group. During this time, he used the results from his Master's project to assess near-term quantum repeaters. Recently, he has been working on high level strategies for distributing entanglement using multiple repeater nodes. This includes the optimisation of repeater schemes and the assessment of routing schemes on quantum networks.

In his spare time, Kenneth enjoys (recreational) mathematics, (partner) dancing, listening and playing a variety of music. He also is a fitness enthusiast.
